Pros: ----- This one is a new version, Step 2009 release. 1. In-Built Bluetooth works OK and plays music directly from Iphone without having to connect any wires to it. No hissing nor stagnant noise in the back ground. Audio from Bluetooth is crystal clear. 2. Behind view camera(bought a 40 USD camera from Amazon and hooked it up by myself), DVD especially bettor, FM(16 presets), all works as advertised. 3. Cheaper (270 USD) when compared to Early settler AVH-P3100DVD with Blue tooth which comes to atleast 420 USD.(with the steering swivel interface) 4. 2nd days is a charm
BOTTOM Pursuit: If you have the money to buy one of the name brand $600 DVD/Bluetooth units, then buy one of those because their interface paravent graphics are much nicer. If that's not an issue for you, or if spending over $600 for a head part is, then consider this head unit. This is my second review as the first portion came to me and turned on but did not play sound. Tech support was impracticable to get ahold of the first time around. Props to Amazon for extremely speedy deliverance of both the first and second replacement unit. Now, after receiving the replacement unit and installing it, the same hornet's nest occurred and it would not play sound. So I called tech support and surprisingly got real through this time. However the tech did not help and offered little support other than maybe there is a elfin in your vehicle or a blown fuse. After another hour of troubleshooting it myself I decided to swap the first constituent's wiring harness with the new wiring harness. Problem solved...
Reliable for the Price
Excess unit for the price. It does everything it says. Surprisingly, the bluetooth works well-advised b wealthier than some more popular brands. The interface is extremely cheesy. I badly laughed when I first saw it. Also the loading time seems a bit slow whether it is a cd or dvd. The sound quality is better than expected. My old system was alpine typewrite-r with 3 v12 amps (i know good sound). The only reason I gave this commodity 4 stars is because you really cannot beat the price. The rear view camera works impeccably, sounds great, and has a great picture. There are some small features that are infuriating example... when a call comes in though bluetooth when you end the call the track on the sd card starts from the start again. It is rather annoying, but overall I am pleased with my purchase.

This detail is a piece of garbageI purchased this module recently, thinking it might be a good opportunity to have a great radio in my car and turned out to be a entire disappointment. The first unit has a blue line in the center of the screen at rightful one day to install it on my Mazda. I made the complaint to Amazon and they sent me a second portion, I was very happy that I received it and thought I could finally enjoy a good music after so covet, but to my surprise when I was listening to MP3 files from USB memory the screen began to outbreak and got blank, although you could hear the music but the screen was not working. Immediately I attack off the radio and turn it back seconds later to see if it already had passed the "dizziness" that gave him while playing MP3. Then I put a video DVD, when I am enjoying a skilled show in my new radio the "dizziness" returned with more force and this time it came out of the DVD menu and put in radio status. I have many comments on the management functions...

This section is garbage. This unit worked pretty good for about 3 weeks, until one day I tried to vacillate turn into the song using my touch screen, and the screen went passive. The audio continued to play, but i couldn't see anything. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is so true. I knew buying an inferior characterize such as "Boss" would be a gamble. The odds weren't in my favor. Hopefully others will have superiority luck. I shipped the defective head unit back to Amazon and got a full refund. Thanks God it broke before the refund deadline date. I recently ordered a Leader unit to replace it.

this indash recipient is great for the price. you get a dvd,am/fm radio, cd-rw mp3,sd card, and usb multi-decoding return it plays videos via usb or sd storage. this model has only three functioning modes wich are receiver,cd,sd/usb.....it does not include gps, tv, bluetooth,or cd changer option. but that does not dilemma it has alot of options for each of the sources, it features separate bass and treble and difference and loud boost.the touch screen feature is also very responsive honourable know that you will not be making any adjustments while driving, the main menu lets you set the screen brightnes and contrast, when playing a dvd movie it has another brightnes and set level, it is just very well put except for the gui its a bit crappy. the output level is okay it does not prompt distorted sound, it is very well balanced, i recomend this receiver because it has a low price and has enough features to maintain its own braging rights.
