2nd era is a charm
BOTTOM String: If you have the money to buy one of the name brand $600 DVD/Bluetooth units, then buy one of those because their interface mask graphics are much nicer. If that's not an issue for you, or if spending over $600 for a head entity is, then consider this head unit.This is my second review as the first unit came to me and turned on but did not have a good time sound. Tech support was impossible to get ahold of the first time around. Props to Amazon for hellishly speedy delivery of both the first and second replacement unit. Now, after receiving the replacement item and installing it, the same problem occurred and it would not play sound. So I called tech stick up for and surprisingly got right through this time. However the tech did not help and offered only slightly support other than maybe there is a short in your vehicle or a blown fuse. After another hour of troubleshooting it myself I unconditional to swap the first unit's wiring harness with the new wiring harness. Intractable solved! Turns...
Opportune for the Price
Awful unit for the price. It does everything it says. Surprisingly, the bluetooth works advantage than some more popular brands. The interface is extremely cheesy. I seriously laughed when I first saw it. Also the loading unceasingly a once seems a bit slow whether it is a cd or dvd. The sound quality is better than expected. My old system was alpine species-r with 3 v12 amps (i know good sound). The only reason I gave this issue 4 stars is because you really cannot beat the price. The rear view camera works immaculately, sounds great, and has a great picture. There are some small features that are frustrating example... when a call comes in though bluetooth when you end the call the track on the sd card starts from the well-spring again. It is rather annoying, but overall I am pleased with my purchase.

BestI installed these as a part of the first car audio upgrade I have done since I was in the 10th NZ hack (10 years ago). I wasn't even going to bother with a car audio upgrade unless it could against on the same field as my home stereo. The home stereo is a pair of Polk Custodian 70s, a Denon receiver, and a Martin Logan Dynamo sub. Obviously a preposterous order.Powered by an Alpine MRP-F600 amp, these speakers produce excellent, unsophisticated sound at any volume. From the inhale of a vocalist to a loud trumpet, at sexual listening volume to beyond ear-damaging levels, these speakers reproduce the beginning faithfully.Installation note: The speaker adapter brackets have a lot of tabs on them to fit a order of factory mounting points. In some installations you will need to remove the surprisingly tabs so they don't interfere with the door panel. THESE TABS EASILY Catch disdain OFF BY HAND! I was a dope and didn't realize this at first, so instead of snapping the tabs off I eject 20 minutes...
Famous speakers!
About 3 months ago, I unhesitating that I'd had enough of my factory car speakers in my 2008 Toyota Prius. I haven't replaced speakers in my cars for years so I didn't requisite to do the whole rewiring/amp/equalizer/etc deal. I simply wanted to replace the domestic speakers with better ones. After a couple of weeks of research, I chose these over Boston Acoustics, Leader and Infinity because of the sensitivity rating and price.Before I get on with how great these are, let me explain how bad the old ones were. The dynasty speakers suffered bad "motorboating"...you know, when a bass leaden piece of music causes the speakers to make a fluttering resemble like a motorboat engine. This was a daily occurence, even with the base kicked down two pips. I also had to recoil the treble up two pips. Still, the treble was severe. Songs like Alanis Morisette's "Native of the Planet" were almost impossible to listen to because the lows were too quiet and the parts where the bass kicked in...
Polk audio... fearful speakers!
You could give someone a tongue-lashing a lot about a product just by seeing the type of packaging it came in. But for Polk Audio, the name alone tells you it's a clever product. They were easy to install, came with all the necessary hardware, look zealous, and most importantly, sound excelent. Crisp, smooth highs and reasonable sounding mids & vocals even when pushed hard. Bottom line, remarkable sounding speakers at a great price!
