Wall off is Too Bright and Not Adjustable
I bought and returned this constituent. The main reason is because the screen is too bright, and the brightness cannot be adjusted. That means it cannot be adjusted in the menu and there's no information wire on the connector that can be controlled by the headlight setting.The screen is very promising. Excellent on a sunny day but glaringly bright and distracting at night. The swart background of the display is even washed out by the brightness to the point where it's not quite vile when the unit is on.Also this unit is lacking a High Pass Filter. My speakers were getting fuzzy at moderate to high volume levels. A HPF would solve this. This feature existed on its ancestor, the 3200.Also lacking is the EQ. The 5-band graphic EQ from previous models has been replaced with a 3-corps bass/mid/high.On the plus side the mechanics on the 3300 are excellent. The buttons have a major tactile feel and there is plenty of grip length on the control...
Does what it says. Will also run music from Machine devices thru Usb.
Works unforgivable. As i could not find any info anywhere about this being compatible with Android as well it indeed does work fine. Since not everyone in the everyone likes or has an Apple device as it only says it will play Ipod and Iphones thru the usb seaport on the front.

Remarkable little device for the price!
Reliably, I don't know why some people have given it such poor reviews. Now, I just received the piece and perhaps I should wait a few months to see how this thing will do, but so far, I am nothing but impressed. It took me about 20 minutes to fix in place it, and I'm not extremely knowledgable about such things. All the complaints and gripes that make this resonate like it is only decent are such minor things that I can't see why people put up such a fuss. The LCD front show is bright, but it's not blinding and I think it's needed if you want to see it clearly during the day. The rudder are not overly confusing as some have said. They take a little getting use to, but like anything desirable, it just takes some time and practice.Honestly, this item is unforgivable and I have nothing negative to say about it. My speakers sound as good as they are going to now, and the ipod direction is amazing. Scrolling through my playlists or artists is very easy to do and I can find things fast...

The XM tuner in my RAV4 had bombed out so I went looking for an upgrade. Did not plan to upgrade this much but am glad I did. Happy to report the receiver displays 4 words of info for XM (with Pioneer GEX-P920XM XM tuner). The touch screen works wonderfully and it is friendly to navigate to all the options. My Sony mp3 Walkman was immediately found with Bluetooth and displays all performance info on screen. Lots of sound and video options to hand to customize to your taste. You get a message warning against watching DVD/video while driving if you insertion a DVD but I don't know that I will ever watch a DVD on it anyway. I have always enjoyed Pioneer products and service and this is no exception. NOTE: I did have the element installed by a professional at a local shop.

Glossy DVD Player for the money
In the video I principled go over the wallpapers and a few basic features, but overall I'd say this deck is VERY nice.I'm not unqualifiedly sold on the style of the volume/source "semi-circle" but it's nicely built. I find myself tiring to hit the right side of the circle to skip to the next track when the actual track romp is located above the circle. The screen is very responsive and the bluetooth seems to work well. I installed my mic in a bad bite so I'm not entirely sure on how the outgoing voice is. Incoming voice sounded prodigious though. Playing music via bluetooth is very cool. The Pandora app is neat but you could by the skin of one's teeth as well stream Pandora via bluetooth to the deck and skip using the "Pandora" beginning on the deck all together.If you have any other questions just ask in the comments. I have no real complaints about the deck so far, it's a very hoover interface and for the price comes with a lot of great features.I have a video but it won't upload...

*** Adapt***After tinkering more with this unit i've discovered a trick. I have a genuine iphone 4s water down from apple (the small white ones), an apple charging rope (standard one supplied) and a 3.5mm headphone jack from Belkin. You can stick the 3.5mm to the iphone dock and the apple charger to the back of the dock and then you have the full functionality of the 'Pandora' functions on the segment without having to buy the $50-$60 cable. I use the iphone dock as the cradle (not the most deep-rooted but it positions nicely in my car)I'm from Australia and bought this unit knowing there may be 'issues'. For anyone case the US, my problems were as follows:1) AM Radio skips by 10khz per station where in Australia it only skips by 9khz. So if you inadequacy 873AM you will only tune into 870AM2) Locked to region 1 (USA only)3) Pandora only forgivable in the US, but can bypass this with some know-how.4) Forget playng any digital crystal set.I listen to...

I've acquainted with Pioneer car stereos for YEARS, as has most of my family. I was specifically looking for a unit that could review from an SD card, but that is very difficult to find.I'd had a unit about $160 more than this one (also a Pioneer) picked out, but because it was not in stock, I chose to go with this one HOPING that it would business the way I wanted.What I wanted:1. DEH3400
This stereo is breathtaking. It was a breeze to install and looks amazing with the multi-color enlightenment choices. The layout is a little difficult and is easy to bump the amount control and end up in the set up menu. But aside from that, this stereo is awesome. Replaced a 15 year old Pioneer with this one.

I also have to say that the FM tuner performs much mastery than my old Delco unit. I'm able to get some stations that are 70+ miles somewhere else. I can only describe the sound as being very "clean" nice highs and deep bass. The power specs on this component is 50 watts peak and 22 watts rms(this is the true power) They have a clean up feature where you can make the display (LED) change colors to match whatever your flush your car console has or what whatever color you want (pretty neat). I have a Pioneer DEH-P310UB car audio component (cd player). It doesn't always turn on when the car is started, and if it does when I start using the buttons, it hardly shuts off and becomes un-useable. How do I fix this?
it because of bad wiring check up on the radio wire, and also did you use a car radio harness for your wiring if not i think you should. justifiable go to a local audio store that sell car stuff and get one that should stop it from shutting off

Preferable now, with the radio turned on, I only see the station I'm listening to. If the radio is turned off the smidgen screen is just black. I didn't get a manual for it when I purchased this hand-me-down vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.
