We have only had it installed for a week, but I have to permit I'm pretty disappointed now that I have actually used it. I think it would be better for older kids who could unbarred and close it and operate it through the menus by themselves, but not so much for young kids. It is not front seat thick. I had it professionally installed, which cost $300 although I had them direct wire the non-speculative to my AUX port on the stereo and they added extra metal bracing from the included form plate to the roof to hold this thing up. I have a 2011 honda odyssey with sunroof. It does durable good through the van's sound system and I think the extra bracing was a good inkling because the headliner in our van behind the sunroof had a lot of flex to it.Pros: The ps2 and the included remotes line well. I put in my old ps2 memory card and my favorite game SSX tricky and it was all good. I could have sat back there for a match up hours without whining. :) I picked this unit because of the ps2...
Sizeable for LONG trips, not every day use
We bought this as a replacement to an Manifestation DVD system, that was warrantied out 3 times, and then failed again. I thought it would be a good replacement, since the other system had an "Atari" sort game system built in, and the kids enjoyed that when they were bored of videos.After installing it, I post-haste grew to hate how incredibly inconvenient it is. There isn't a side DVD slot, which is fine if the next squawk weren't true. This unit has NO MEMORY FEATURE....which means that every period you stop the car to go into a store or leave home, you have to start the DVD all over again. VERY VERY VERY frustrating as a mother of little ones. The remote only works on a limited angle, no where contiguous from the front (our old DVD player had a front IR sensor, so parents could navigate through the menus). We delight it! We only use it on 2hr or longer drives and it works good. I installed it myself. I first had it wired up ill-use and it shut off the player each time I turned off the van, then I selected another fuse and settled that, but, now when I restart the van it turns off for a moment. Which is a pain.I did not wire up the lights, our Ford E-150 already has enough. The grumble does come in great through the speakers.My one complaint is it seems to want to always go into PS2 technique no matter what we put in, then we have to restart it again until it realizes it is a dvd. Warning: we found out that playing role playing games while universal through the mountains made one of our kids sick. OopsOther note, this works gigantic when garage saling keeping the kids happy.

I got the Freeway along with my iPhone 4S. It relevant easily, and reconnects every time I get into my car. I sit down, and by the time I turn the ignition, it's reconnected (and lets you be informed by saying so). It works great as a speakerphone, callers sound creditable and I sound good to them. The volume goes up pretty high so you can still catch fine if you have a loud car. If you press and hold the big phone button for about 2 seconds, Siri will impel if you have it on your iPhone. Siri will use the Freeway's mic and speaker to talk to you. It's great to neutral press the button overhead and be able to have all of Siri's functions. If you're listening to music while you turn on Siri, the music will fade out, and when you're done with it, the music fades back in.Playing music is objectively mediocre through the speaker. While I didn't expect amazing sound out of the slight package, it's hardly the amazing surround sound that Jabra advertises. Most songs are common to sound fine, but if...

The Jabra Freeway is very lustrous and comes with a free and optional one-year subscription to VoiceAssist.Mounting the unit up was easy.1. Before I could use the Jabra Freeway, I charged it for two hours using the supplied USB cable with car stallion.2. Next I made sure the cell phone was Bluetooth-enabled and turned on the Jabra section.3. It immediately went into pairing mode. As it is pairing with the phone appliance, the prompts on the phone needed to be followed and the supplied security criterion criteria had to be entered (not everyone will have to enter a security code; it depends on the phone)4. I honourable completed the installation of this unit in my Chevrolet Avalanche. The one thing that was not known to me previous to purchase is the need for an aftermarket wiring harness adapter to pinch the Parrot unit to my factory Bose system. I did some research online and found only one company who provided the harness for $80.00 so do your research before buying. complex dock, but NO PORTRAIT MODE
Barely want to warn people if it matters to them, you CANNOT use this mount with your phone in thumbnail sketch mode. The car dock locks everything into landscape mode. This sucks for me because I most of the time put my phone to the left of my steering wheel and my phone won't fit in there now like my old mend did. I did a quick google of any solutions but nothing yet.The features of this dock is nicer than the other docks I've acclimated to. This dock is made to be used with a case. If your phone is bare like mine, there's an adapter to turn it fit properly. The USB cable also has an audio port so that it's easier to access and to by one way up to your car. The power adapter also has two USB ports for anything else you may have like a bluetooth headset.
